Saved places should lead somewhere

Group chats collect a lot of good intentions: restaurants to try, walks to take, tiny shops someone saw in a reel. When a free afternoon arrives, all of those ideas are still trapped in the scroll.

Sidequest is a small prototype that groups saved places into loose, walkable adventures—enough structure to get moving, with room for serendipity.

A deliberately small loop

Pick a mood, choose how much time you have, and get a three-stop route assembled from the group’s shared list. Each stop carries the note or person that originally recommended it.

The interaction avoids exhaustive filters. A little randomness makes the plan feel like a suggestion from a friend rather than an itinerary from an optimizer.

Where it could go

The next prototype will explore collaborative saving, graceful substitutions when a place is closed, and a lightweight memory at the end of each outing.
